This magical Cacao bliss balls recipe was created and graciously shared with us by Keith's Cacao Practitioner, Hope Hughes.
Hope, who is also a Reiki Practitioner, offers these bliss balls to her clients at events. Cacao balls are a perfect substitute for those sensitive to a full ceremonial dose of Cacao. They can be pre-prepared, can be kept in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks, and are easy to transport.
They are also the ideal go-to energy snack and equally appealing to kids and adults. They are therefore a great way of introducing both children and friends to Ceremonial Cacao.
They are delicious and healthy, filled with nourishing ingredients, and with no added sugar. They get all of their sweetness from the Medjool dates, whose sweet, caramel taste and chewy texture have gained them the nickname "fruit of the kings".
Featuring dried rather than fresh cranberries that are still super-rich in Vitamin C and a great source of B vitamins, means you can make these no matter what season we are in or where you are located on our beautiful planet.
Almonds, cashews, and soaked chia seeds add fiber, omega-3 and more unsaturated fatty acids, as well as a good dose of protein.
If making these for children, you can make them more appealing by rolling in shredded coconut instead of finely chopped pecans. Or use both! Remember, pecans have great health benefits for children!
A Cacao Balls Recipe starring Keiths’s Cacao and dates, featuring dried cranberries, Chia seeds, organic orange extract, and pecans. A delicious combination, ideal for offering before or after any Ceremonial Cacao-related events as well as any social gatherings.
