Family Friendly Cacao Hot Chocolate

This easy and delicious family-friendly recipe is a great way to introduce the kids and whole family to the magic of Keith’s Cacao.

  • 4 oz Keith's Cacao
  • 4 cups Almond or Oat Milk
  • 2 tbsp Cane Sugar, Granulated (or sweetener of choice)
  • ¼ tsp Kosher Salt

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the Cacao and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, warm the almond or oat milk, add sweetener, and salt. Stir until warm and sweetener is dissolved. Be careful to not overheat!
  3. Add the cacao to the warm liquid and, using a whisk, stir until dissolved and well incorporated. This is a great time for the kids to help, with parent supervision of course!
  4. Divide between 4 mugs and enjoy!
  5. Recommended servings for children: • Teens & Young Adults 8oz • Big Kids 4oz • Small Kids 2oz. Dilute with additional liquid if desired.
